Heads up International operations for Uber across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Operating in over 40 countries and 200 cities Uber is creating a worldwide digital transportation network. The business recently raised $1.2bn to continue this expansion at a valuation of $18bn.

Prior to Uber, Niall was the CEO at Wonga, a digital finance business using big data, proprietary algorithms and a simple UI to provide smarter and faster lending in less than 15 minutes to consumers and businesses (backed by Accel, Greylock, Balderton). Niall was also the Chief Commercial Officer at Betfair for 8 years – a business that disintermediated the traditional bookmaker using a p2p marketplace for sports betting – Betfair listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2010 at $2.5bn. Niall also spent 10 years in private equity & management consulting after his education. He has a Master’s degree in Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD.
